Design

Touchdown for teams
Offer teams choice with ‘touchdown’ setting to support changing activities. A modern take on the mid-century swivel chair. Specere’s classic, open form conceals a range of contemporary innovations. Take a seat. Adjust the height. Specere does the rest for you. Each sitter gets unique support, based on their weight and movement. Roll it between settings, to host a bigger group. Its style and performance suit any work zone and create an inspiring and comfortable team experience.

Designer
Andreas Krob is an industrial designer. B4K was founded in 2001 with his wife Uta Krob. The design studio stands for sensitive design of exacting, innovative tasks from the fields of design and architecture. The fitments and furnishings speak their own formal language and each individual part has its own unique character. Various design prices and several international patents describes his capacity in inventing new products. The product design will be always in cooperation with Joachim Brüske. He is responsible for the technical management in the development and the complete engineering. Abdreas Krob is responsible for design, marketing and concept development… he is the innovation scout.

Design
The idea was to design a chair that has the character of an icon. A kind of monobloc. One color, one material, one basic shape, from one cast.

All parts are integrated precisely and form-fittingly into the overall concept.
Sustainability

Specere has been designed with the environment in mind. By limiting the number of materials and components we have lowered the carbon footprint through production and distribution. While built to last, Specere’s components can be disassembled for recycling.
